Thank you orchestra and choir students for making this concert an event to remember. I am so proud of all of you! Thank you to Mr. Lancaster for the wonderful art show, Ms. Erickson for the delicious treats and Mr. Barr for your sound engineering. Also, thank you to Mrs. Twamley and Mrs. Langohr for your hard work and support. A big hug to Ms. Simmons for continuing this tradition we started - I so enjoy working with you. Amid the Falling Snow - 2013 Holiday Concert
You are cordially invited to attend "Amid the Falling Snow" Thursday, December 19 in the Glacier High School Performance Hall. The show will be presented at 4:00 pm and at 7:00 pm. The Glacier High School Chamber Orchestra and the Glacier High School Choirs will perform a variety of familiar and new holiday numbers. The concert will close with the traditional "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's "Messiah." There is no admission charge.

Western Montana AA Crosstown Choir Festival November 18 & 19, 2013
Flathead Valley music lovers will be treated to a grand affair to welcome in the holiday season, when one hundred voices present the Western Montana AA Crosstown Choir Festival Concert at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 19, in the Glacier High School Performance Hall. Flathead High School's Choral-Aires and Glacier High School's Echoes will open Tuesday evening's concert. The All-State choir members from both schools will perform a song from their recent festival. The two concert choirs will perform separately on the concert, and then combine to present five choral masterworks. The guest director is Dr. David Edmonds, currently Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Activities at the University of Montana. Flathead's choirs are under the direction of Ellen McKenzie.

"Something to Sing About" Fall Concert - October 24, 2013
You are cordially invited to attend the GHS Fall Choir Concert "Something to Sing About," Thursday, October 24 in the GHS Performance Hall. This concert will be performed twice - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The Glacier Girls' Choir will open the concert with several traditional melodies, including "The Gift of Love" and "When the Sun Goes In," followed by the Glacier Men's Choir singing songs of exploration and adventure. The girls' jazz choir, the Glacier Breeze, will entertain the audience with the famous swing tune, "In the Mood." The Advanced Women's Choir will perform songs of love and close with a popular barbershop tune, "Mister Sandman." The Glacier Echoes recently performed in the Glacier Jazz Stampede Gospel Choir and will sing several tunes from that event. The Concert Choir will close the performance with Stephen Chatman's work, "Due North." There is no charge for this event.
