What an incredible performance by the Glacier High School Music Department! From the opening combined selections "Sing Noel, Sing Hallelujah (arr. Christopher) and "Gloria" (arr. Purifoy) the audience knew they were in for a treat. Glacier Girls performed classics including "Carol of the Bells" and "Do You Hear What I Hear." The Advanced Women and Men's Choir combined to sing 23 carols in "Christmas In About Three Minutes." Glacier Breeze performed the beautiful "Winter Song" and Glacier Echoes wowed the audience with Pentatonix arrangements of "Little Drummer Boy" and "White Winter Hymnal." Magic was created when the Concert Choir combined with the orchestra for Clausen's arrangement of "O Holy Night." Concert Choir went on to sing Harris' "In This Very Room" leaving not a dry eye in the house. The evening ended with GHS choral alumni on stage for Handel's powerful "Hallelujah Chorus" performed by over 200 musicians! I am so proud to have been a part of this truly special evening. Thank you to GHS musicians, Sherry Simmons, David Barr, Kristen Erickson, Josh Lancaster, CJ Cummings, Doug Mason, Callie Langhor and Jan Twamley for making this night possible.
